EDUCATION + EXPERIENCE
Chelsea Kloss, Founder and Lead Designer at Chelsea Kloss Interiors, formally known as Chelsea+Remy Design, achieved a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences with a Major in Interior Design and Minor in Technology (Magna Cum Laude) from Texas State University-San Marcos in 2005. Chelsea began her Interior Design career as a Managerial Partner and Lead Designer at Austin based design firm, Interior DesignWorks, and launched her own company, Chelsea Kloss Interiors in 2008.
CAPABILITIES + STRENGTHS
In addition to having vast experience in new home construction, remodeling, small scale commercial projects and multi-family developments, Chelsea Kloss Interiors also works extensively with clients in the furnishing and accessorizing aspect of their projects. Chelsea feels that her greatest strength is her ability to facilitate designs from concept to completion while maintaining a high level of professionalism and trust with her clients.
DESIGN + BARKITECTURE
Chelsea spent several years serving on the board for the ASID Austin Community as Student Liaison where she helped bridge the gap between students and design professionals. She co-founded an organization called Animal Lovers of Austin, Inc. (501-c3) whose sole purpose is to promote the annual Barkitecture event, raising money for local animal advocacy groups by selling one of a kind doghouses at an annual downtown event.
RECOGNITION
Chelsea’s projects have been selected for local home tours including the Austin Cool House Tour, the Modern Home Tour and the Home Builder’s Association Parade of Homes. National and local publications have chosen to feature Chelsea Kloss Interiors projects in their magazines and newspaper articles as well as online features.
